When it comes to summer nail polish trends this season’s faves are on opposite ends of the spectrum. In this corner we have light, airy, ladylike pastels and in the other corner we’ve got bright, bold, jewel-toned shades. One thing these two opposing colour groups have in common is their creamy texture. Gone are the hard-edged metallics and-in-your face glitter lacquers—in their place are shades as soft as a warm breeze and as bold as a summer heat wave.
Look below for my picks of the top hues and brands including selections from M.A.C.’s new permanent nail lacquer collection, Nars’ collabo with designer Thakoon Panichgul, and Lancôme’s limited edition Vernis in Love nail lacquers.
