After I had my first child I realized that I had to work out because things just looked wrong! It took me many years of ups and downs with my weight to finally get a better grip on it and in the last five to six years it’s been better, not perfect, but better.

I try very hard to not gain more than five pounds and at eight pounds, I clamp down and work my ass off…literally. Nowadays, I do a few different things to work out. I do a lot of the Bar Method and I am trying spinning twice a week. I also try to squeeze in some CrossFit. Surprisingly I don’t love working out, I just do it because I know it’s good for me and I feel better and look better. I also try to eat clean, I don’t eat gluten anymore but let’s face it, I’m not a saint! I have been know to get down and dirty with a box of Glutino Vanilla cookies weekly….and if I eat one, it’s over! I’ll eat half the box so I have to be careful since I’m not a one-of-anything kind of girl. You pickin’ up what I’m puttin’ down?
