It seems like the American retail invasion is never-ending (and like any good TV show, I’m enjoying every minute).
You’ve probably all but forgotten the days when we had to cross the border to shop at stores like Gap, Banana Republic, Forever 21, J.Crew and Sephora.
But trust me, I have not. I remember trekking to Buffalo or Detroit just to be able to get some polar fleece pajama pants from Old Navy (don’t judge, I was 10!) and then loading up my parents’ car with American food staples that we couldn’t get here and clothing from all those amazing retailers that wouldn’t come north.
How far we’ve come!
On Thursday, Sephora will officially launch Sephora.ca. The Canadian site will be fully bilingual, and will feature exclusive deals just for us. We Canucks can also (finally!) check out product availability in stores in case we want to see before we buy. With Canadian pricing, low shipping rates and free shipping on orders over $75, my beauty wish list is getting ready for take off.
It’s pretty exciting news for beauty junkies around the country — and we’re excited to be one of the first to share.
