What: The Media Essentials Lounge

Where: A few luxury suites at Hotel Le Germain in downtown Toronto.

Why: For many of us who work in the media industry, a special event like TIFF means sleepless nights, 14-hour work days and an exhausting number of events and parties to cover. Thanks to Esther Garnick and her team at EGPR, media are pampered before the festival begins and armed with all they’ll need to survive it (The Survival Kit) and recover from it (The Recovery Kit).

The Swag: Guests were treated to lash extensions from Winks Eyelash Boutique, spray tans from Tan on the Run, treats from recently launched food truck Gourmet B1tches, makeup applications from Benefit Cosmetics, Calvin Klein undergarments, Elizabeth Grant skin care products, John Frieda hair products, Joy-a-Toes, a three-day juice cleanse from Raw Juice Guru, Vitamints, a Snazzy Napper, teas from Tealish, Tums Freshers and an assortment of vitaminwater and Smart Water.
