This week, we’re super excited to have Sarah Symonds taking over our Mistress recaps. She’s sharing her perspective and some behind-the-scenes secrets from the shoot.
Where do I start with Lila?
What a sweet woman! She’s so beautiful, and was just so worn down by her married man that it obviously had affected her self-esteem.
To help rebuild her vigor for life and fill the voids that were left by her married man, I took Lila away to Whistler for the weekend to have a girls-only getaway. I had never been and boy, was it lovely. We had a great time, although Lila was constantly pining for her married man. Did you like what I did with her cell phone?
I soon knocked that out of her, and as we hit the slopes and breathed in the fresh mountain air, even she felt that new beginnings were ahead. She was ready for a clean slate.
My crew was amazing that day in Whistler (and every day, of course!). I remember our cameraman Josh braving the elements to get the perfect shots of us riding the gondola up and down the mountain. No easy feat with a storm brewing!
Lila was a joy to work with, and it’s my fervent hope she’ll stay true to everything I tried to teach and show her. I can’t force women to make a change; I can only inspire and motivate them to a better way of life. A life without lies and a life without settling for second best. I also try to lead by example. I mean, if I can change my life, then anyone can.

Slice caught up with Lila after the episode wrapped to see how she’s doing.
Slice: What is your current relationship status?
Lila: Single.
Slice: Since the show, have you been in contact with your MM?
Lila: Yes.
Slice: Are you weary of starting new relationships out of fear that you will end up a mistress again?
Lila: No, this was a one-time mistake and I knew he was married going into it. I am not drawn to married men. As for unknowingly becoming a mistress and finding out later – the signs that a man is married are quite easy to spot. I won’t have the misfortune of repeating this incident.
Slice: Do you regret your past affairs?
Lila: I regret ever meeting him, and enduring all that I did. It was such an utter waste of my time!
Slice: If you could say anything to your MM’s wife, what would you say?
Lila: He will never, ever be faithful to you. You are both foolish and naive if you believe otherwise.
Slice: How would you describe your experience with Sarah?
Lila: Entertaining.
