Two heads are often better than one — and there is nowhere where that statement rings more true than in the Big Brother house. Finding a partner in crime can help get you all the way to the end, like it did for Dr. Will, Mike “Boogie” and Dan Gheesling. With Big Brother Canada premiering next Wednesday (which means our next great duo could be just around the corner), we’re taking a look back at some of the best twosomes in Big Brother history.

1. Will and Mike “Boogie”

Maybe the most famous Big Brother duo of all time, Mike “Boogie” Malin and Dr. Will Kirby took their twosome all the way to the top (twice!). The two formed the “Chilltown Alliance” and were able to capture two titles: one in Season 2 when Dr. Will won the big prize, and once in Season 7 when Mike won the all-star season.

2. Shane and Danielle

The constant “are they or aren’t they?” questions surrounding Shane and Danielle was a highlight of Big Brother 14. They kept fans on their toes when it came to their relationship, and with Shane’s physical strength and Danielle’s sweetness, these two took it all the way to top four. If they played again (and considering their relationship made it into real life), I think they’d definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

3. Jeff and Jordan

With HoH and PoV wins under his belt, Jeff Schroeder was a stellar player (even though he only came in fifth). He was voted fan favourite both times he played. He partnered early with Jordan Lloyd, who ended up winning Season 11. Since leaving the show, the pair have confirmed that they’re dating and have gone on to compete on The Amazing Race.

4. Dan and Memphis

It’s safe to say that Dan Gheesling may be one of the best players in Big Brother history. Add in a loyal partner to his scheming game-play and you’ve got a recipe for success. In Big Brother 10, Dan and Robert “Memphis” Garrett made it all the way to the final two, where Dan scooped up the top prize.

5. Evel Dick and Danielle

There’s no bond like the one shared between family, which makes Richard “Evel Dick” Donato and Daniele one of the most dangerous duos to ever play the game. They made it all the way to the final two, guaranteeing the top prize would stay in the family.
